Kenneth N. “Ken” Harry, 87, of Clearfield died Thursday, Jan. 26 at the Clearfield Hospital.
He was born Aug. 25, 1924, the son of Charles and Chrissie (Cramer) Harry.
Mr. Harry worked 25 years for the state’s Department of Transportation as a construction inspection supervisor of highways and bridges.
He was Methodist by faith.
He was a lifetime member of the #97 Moose of Clearfield and the Aerie #812 Fraternal Order of the Eagles.
He was an avid golfer at the Clearfield-Curwensville Country Club for many years, winning many trophies. He was also a champion competitive pool player.
Mr. Harry is survived by a daughter, Vicki D. Fink and her husband, Lee R. of Salisbury, MD; four grandchildren, Rachel L. Fink; Michael B. Fink and his wife, Joanna L.; Kevin J. Fink; and Jenny M. Fink; two great-grandchildren, Zachary L. Fink and Benjamin M. Fink; and eight nieces and two nephews.
He was the last member of his generation.
Mr. Harry was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Nelson B. Harry and Samuel C. Harry.
Honoring Mr. Harry’s wishes there will be no public viewing or visitation. Interment will be held in the Crown Crest Memorial Park.
