BIGLER – An armed robbery involving pliers and a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles bandana at the Nittany Minit Mart is under investigation.
According to the state police in Clearfield, the incident occurred early Tuesday morning. A male entered the store and made his way around the couter. He approached the clerk with a set of pliers in his hand and forced the clerk to open the registers. The male then fled the store with about $250.
He was described as being a white male, 6 feet, 1 inches to 6 feet, 2 inches tall and having a slender build. He is believed to be in his early 20s, with blond hair and a sunken face. He was wearing dark sneakers with white trim, dark blue jeans, a dark “puffy” jacket, and a dark hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up. The hood had skulls on each side of the hood. He was also using what is believed to be a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles bandana to cover the bottom portion of his face.
