DECATUR TOWNSHIP – The Clearfield-based state police have initiated an investigation into the death of a known male who was found by a passerby in a wooded area off of Irwin Drive at 1:45 p.m. Saturday in Decatur Township.
The cause of death is unknown at this time, state police said. The death investigation is ongoing at this time. No further information was provided in the report.
State police were assisted by the Clearfield County Coroner and the Hope Volunteer Fire Department. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Clearfield-based state police at 814-857-3800.
