Walter L. Wagner Sr., 73 of Philipsburg, passeda way on Jan. 24, 2012 at Mt. Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Clearfield.
Born June 30, 1937, he was the son of the late Walter Tine and Rachel (Morgan) Wagner.
He was of Christian faith and served in the US Marine Corp. He was a retired diesel mechanic for Clearfield Truck Stops. He graduated from Conamaugh High School in Johnstown, class of 1954.
He was wed to Emily Joy (Steiner) Wagner, who passed away on June 3, 2003.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; infant daughter Daisy Wagner and three brothers, Ralph, Harry and Richard Wagner.
He is survived by grandchildren Katie, Sierra, Shane, Jared, Maya, Ashlynn, Karlea and Kurtis Wagner; daughter Sharon Kathy Wagner and her companion Brandon Diviney of Philipsburg; son Walter Lee Wagner Jr. of Woodland; sisters Carol Hollen of North Carolina, Marie Marsh and her husband Charles of Johnstown and Martha Moyer and her husband Fred of Johnstown and brother John Wagner and his wife Lisa Peoples of Clearfield.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. There will be no viewing.
