DUBOIS – The Clearfield County 4-H Program is pleased to announce that the Tractor Supply Store of DuBois (Store #1438) was recently recognized by the National 4-H Council for exceeding their store’s transaction percentage goal for the Fall 2011 4-H Paper Clover Promotion, which was held last September & October. During these months, customers were asked to buy a 4-H paper clover for $1.00, with all proceeds going to the 4-H program. The DuBois store raised a total of $401.00. All money generated will benefit 4-H. 65 percent ($260.65) will come back to the Clearfield County 4-H program, 30 percent ($120.30) will go to National 4-H Council, and 5 percent ($20.05) will come back to Pennsylvania State 4-H Program.
In additional to the Tractor Supply Store in DuBois, the Tractor Supply Store in Clearfield (Store #685) has also been a major supporter and brought in $379.00 during the fall 2011 campaign.
“On behalf of the Clearfield County 4-H Program, I want to thank our county’s Tractor Supply Stores for their continued support of the 4-H program and the youth in our community. Through the efforts of the 4-H Paper Clover Promotions offered each spring & fall, we have been able to use the funds generated to grow the 4-H program in our county and provide scholarships to youth attending regional & state 4-H events.” Jana Lynne Davidson, 4-H Youth Development Educator
A Spring 4-H Paper Clover Promotion for all Tractor Supply Stores will take place May 2 – May 13.
