Clarion University will host part two of the “Not on OUR Campus” panel discussion at 6 p.m. Feb. 13 in Hart Chapel.
The first “Not on OUR Campus” panel was in December, in response to and to create a dialogue about the alleged cover-up of child sexual abuse at Penn State University.
The Feb. 13 panel discussion will focus on the interpersonal, rather than institutional, aspects of this crime. Issues for victims, consequences for perpetrators and treatment and prevention of sexual assault/aggression will be addressed by panelists Diane Kuntz, PASSAGES, Inc.; Brenda Manno, Project Point of Light; Mark Lapore, Clarion University Counseling Center; Tracy Park, victim services/district attorney’s office; and a survivor.
Dr. Bob Girvan, Clarion University professor emeritus, sociology, will moderate.
“Not on OUR Campus” is sponsored by Clarion University Presidential Commission on the Status of Women, Clarion VDay Project, Women and Gender Studies and PASSAGES, Inc.
