Police Report: Ridgway PSP

No injuries were reported following a single-vehicle accident at 3:30 p.m. Thursday along state Route 255 in Jay Township, Elk County. Amanda L. Brandt, 21, of Kersey was traveling northbound when she lost control of her vehicle on the icy/snow-covered roadway. At that point, her vehicle spun sideways and exited the roadway on the east side. Her vehicle then impacted an embankment with its front at which time it spun sideways and impacted the embankment again with its right rear. It came to a rest in a field, facing east. Brandt was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident.
