CLEARFIELD – A Clearfield woman is reportedly in trouble for abusing a child.
After a lengthy investigation, the Clearfield Borough Police filed charges on a Clearfield woman for aggravated assault, simple assault, endangering the welfare of children, and reckless endangerment.
The charges are based on a May 2011 incident at a day care provider. It is alleged that the Clearfield woman shook a 5 month old baby, causing substantial injury to the child. The child was sent to the Pittsburgh Children’s Hospital via life flight.
