The Joseph & Elizabeth Shaw Public Library recently made a donation to First Book, an organization that distributes books through local literacy programs. Preschool participants of the Dr. Seuss ‘n Me story session at Shaw Public Library contributed new board books at the Santa Claus event held in 2011. Over 50 board books were collected for First Book. Pictured from left: Paula Collins, Library Director; Erin Wills, Youth Services Coordinator; and Angela Hassinger, First Book Coordinator.
