BRADFORD – A lumber mill fire in Bradford is under investigation.
According to the state police in Kane, a joint investigation was conducted by PSP Ridgway and the Bradford City Police and Fire Departments into the cause and origin of a fire at Tuna Mill and Lumber. Police said the fire destroyed the mill. The building was unoccupied when the fire occurred at 10:24 a.m. on Jan. 11. No injuries were reported.
Losses are estimated at $500,000. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Bradford City Police Department at 814-368-6133 or the state police fire marshal in Ridgway at 814-776-6136.
