CLEARFIELD – A reported structure fire at the Clearfield Middle School turned out to be a malfunctioned boiler, the Lawrence Township Police Department reported.
According to the report, police responded to the middle school and determined the boiler was malfunctioning and creating smoke. All individuals had exited the building, police said.
Police cleared the scene, while the fire department contained the fire and ventilated the building.
