Police Report: Philipsburg PSP

The investigation is ongoing into an incident of harassment/domestic violence that occurred at 1:33 a.m. Saturday at a Spike Island Road residence in Rush Township, Centre County. A 41-year-old male allegedly slapped a 13-year-old victim several times and pushed a 41-year-old female.
A DUI was reported at 12:57 a.m. Saturday along Front Street in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. A 67-year-old Philipsburg man was observed operating a 1992 Chevrolet Sedan without its headlights on and also committing several other traffic violations. After contact with the operator, it was determined that he was under the influence of alcohol, while he was operating his vehicle. He was taken into custody for DUI. Charges for DUI and multiple summary violations will be filed through the district court.
