Erdie Leone Peoples, 73, of Clearfield, passed away Jan. 5, 2012 at the Clearfield Hospital.
Born Jan. 26, 1938 in Sandy Township, PA she was the daughter of Sloan Henry and Ruth Dora (McMasters) Shugarts. She had been employed by Liz Clairborn Inc. as an assembly line worker in NJ for 10 years.
She is survived by 3 daughters Sonda Vaszlavik of Monroe Twp., NJ, Lisa Peoples and her companion John “Jack” Wagner of Clearfield, and Stephanie Hall and her husband Kenneth of Tabernacle, NJ. 6 grandchildren Michael Stuller, Jeff Vaszlavik, Dawn Stuller, Anthony Vaszlavik, Zachary Vaszlavik, and Mackenzie Hall. A great granddaughter Braelyn Stuller. 4 brothers and sisters Irene O’Conner and her husband Terry, Ella Holt and her husband Kenneth all of Clearfield, Kenneth Shugarts and his wife Shirley of Shreveport, Louisiana and John Shugarts and his wife Beverly of PA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James McCullen Peoples who preceded her in death on October 5, 1999, and a brother George Shugarts.
At the request of Ms. Peoples there will be no public viewing or services.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association.
