RUSH TOWNSHIP – A 44-year-old Philipsburg man sustained moderate injuries and was transported to the Mount Nittany Medical Center following a single-vehicle accident at 5:56 a.m. Thursday along U.S. Route 322 west of East Mountain Road in Rush Township, Centre County.
According to the Philipsburg-based state police, the man reportedly traveled off the roadway at which time his vehicle struck an embankment and guiderails. He was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident.
The man’s vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene by Price Parkway Towing. He will be cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
