Police were called to Nichols Street when a tenant locked himself out of his apartment while taking out his garbage. The tenant needed to get into his apartment, as he needed to take him medication. Police contacted “Ron the Locksmith” whom responded and made entry into the apartment.
Police are investigating a complaint of identify theft. An unknown actor obtained a Sears Master-Card credit card in the name of a Clearfield woman. The actor then made over $120.00 in purchases in December. Master Card fraud division is assisting in the investigation.
Police investigated a two-vehicle accident that occurred on South Second Street, near East Pine Street. There were no injuries and both vehicles received minor damage.
Police received a complaint of a traffic violation on West Second Avenue. A Dubois woman was attempting to operate a motor vehicle that did not have any brakes.
Police assisted Clearfield- Jefferson Mental Health on Spruce Street with a woman threatening to cause harm to herself. The woman was transported to the Clearfield Hospital for evaluation. While at the hospital the woman became disorderly with the hospital staff. The woman was later transported to the Dubois Hospital for further treatment.
Police were called to the Clearfield Hospital to assist Morris Cooper Regional P.D with an assault that had taken place in Allport. Police arrived on scene and made contact with an underage juvenile that was intoxicated. He was transported to the office and released to his mother. Charges are pending.

Police where flagged down by a motorist on New Years day for a disturbance at East Cherry and South Third Streets. Police located four men that where involved in a verbal altercation.

Police responded to a fight on East Third Street where two men where to be fighting. Police learned that two men had a disagreement and had worked out their differences prior to police arrival.
Police responded to a disturbance on Water Street where there where to be several individuals outside a residence yelling.
Police assisted the LTPD with a report of an out of control male that was at 150 Hotel Heights. The man was to be fighting and then attempting to leave the bar and had struck a guardrail and vehicle.
Police served a mental health warrant on a man that was said to want to harm himself.

Police searched the area of the hospital for a report of a woman that was said to be in the area wanting to harm herself. Police found that the female was not in the Clearfield area and assistance from another agency was requested.
