Robert L. Adams, 87 of Philipsburg, passed away on Dec. 27, 2011 at his residence.
Born Dec. 24, 1924, he was the son of the late William and Margaret (Jones) Adams.
He was a Protestant by faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Donald “Audie” and William H. “Billy Buster” Adams and infant sister Betty Adams.
He is survived by sister Mrs. Robert (Peggy) Shoff of Philipsburg. He is also survived by nieces Jill Blake Gina Askey and Margo Muchinsky; and nephew Scott Shoff.
Private funeral services will be held at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home, 719 E. Spruce St., Philipsburg with the Rev. Jean Martin officiating. Burial will be at Philipsburg Cemetery. There will be no public visitation.
Contributions in memory of Mr. Adams may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
