PUNXSUTAWNEY – The homestanding Chuck wrestlers broke a 33-year losing streak against Clearfield, parlaying five pins and a forfeit into a 43-32 win Wednesday night.
The bright spots for the Bisons were an impressive pin by Dylan Graham over Neko Capella, Mike Beck’s first win of the season, and Noah Cline dominating for his second win in a 16-1 technical fall.
Christian Stone and Jordan Lancaster added falls for the Bisons, while the Chucks forfeited to Nolan Barger.
The Chucks improved to 2-0 with the win, while the Bisons dropped to 0-3.
Clearfield is off for 13 days, returning to action against Central Mountain at home on January 3.
