KYLERTOWN – Drivers can expect short travel delays this week on Route 53 in the Kylertown area.
Flaggers will be in place on Route 53 to enforce an alternating traffic pattern from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day. The traffic restriction is necessary so that crews can make repairs to the I-80 eastbound bridge that spans Route 53. All work is weather dependent.
Drivers are reminded to obey posted speed limits, use caution in construction zones and always buckle up. PennDOT reminds motorists they can log on to 511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic conditions before heading out.
