Police received a report of a mail scam regarding a Nigerian money scam.

Police received a report of a civil issue where a known person is slandering a resident on Topix. The resident was advised how to proceed civilly.
Police received a report of an abandoned vehicle parked on private property at Carns Equipment.
Police were called for an incident involving a possible assault with a weapon. Officers learned that there were kids involved and the weapon was a BB gun.
Police were called to Parkview Road for two suspicious men attempting to enter a vacant residence. Officers spoke with the parties involved and learned they were working for bank, changing locks.
Police received a call for an automatic fire alarm at the Hampton Inn.
