PINE TOWNSHIP – Minor injuries were reported following a single-vehicle accident at approximately 5:10 p.m. Monday along state Route 153 and U.S. Route 322 in Pine Township, the Clearfield-based state police reported.
According to the accident report, Dawn M. Snyder, 42, of Brockway was traveling eastbound when she believed to have observed a deer that was attempting to enter the roadway. Snyder swerved her vehicle to the right, where she impacted a guiderail.
At that point, her vehicle traveled across both lanes of travel and onto the berm. Her vehicle then overturned twice before coming to a final rest along the southern side of the roadway, state police said.
Snyder and her passenger, Lorrenna E. Snyder, 24, of Curwensville were transported to the Clearfield Hospital for medical treatment. Both were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the mishap.
State police were assisted at the accident scene by Clearfield Emergency Medical Services and Ross Towing. Snyder’s vehicle sustained severe damage, according to the accident report.
