Agnes O. Graham, 89, of Clearfield died after a brief illness Thursday at the Clearfield Hospital. She was born Oct. 22, 1922 in Olanta, the daughter of Guy and Maybelle (Garrison) Bowman.
Mrs. Graham was a homemaker. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed reading and watching the birds in her yard.
She was affiliated with the Methodist faith.
Mrs. Graham was a member of the former Lawrence Grange.
She is survived by six children, Jerry W. Graham and his wife, Joyce; Richard D. Graham and his wife Janice; Linda Liegey and her husband, Terry; and Marian Graham, all of Clearfield; Pamela Johnson and her husband, Gerald of Curwensville; and Lester G. Graham Jr. and his wife, Karen of Polk; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Graham was the last member of her generation and was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lester G. Graham, who died Aug. 4, 1993 and whom she married Oct. 22, 1942; one infant granddaughter; two grandchildren, Kathy Jo Graham and Matthew Graham; two brothers, Jesse B. Bowman and Cleo W. Bowman; and two sisters, Esther Burnett and Frances Sturniolo.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home Inc., Clearfield with the Rev. Duane Stiner officiating. Interment will be in the Bloomington Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of the services Monday.
