BELLEFONTE – According to Gant news partner WJACTV.com, ex-Penn State football coach Jerry Sandusky has posted $250,000 bail after spending a night in jail following his arrest on additional child sex abuse charges.
Court records show Sandusky posted bail using $200,000 in real estate holdings and a $50,000 certified check provided by wife Dorothy.
Sandusky, 67, of State College, was arrested by agents from the Attorney General’s Office and Pennsylvania State Police on Wednesday as part of an ongoing grand jury investigation.
The former Penn State assistant football coach accused of molesting and sexually assaulting ten boys on and off campus. He is charged with four counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and two counts of unlawful contact with a minor, all first-degree felonies that are each punishable by up to 20 years in prison and $25,000 fines if convicted.
