The investigation continues into an incident of terrorist threats Monday at the Moshannon Valley High School in Bigler Township, Clearfield County. Students reported that another student was going to bring a weapon to school.
An incident of criminal mischief occurred sometime between 2:21 p.m. and 3:10 p.m. Tuesday along Graham Road in Bradford Township, Clearfield County. A person(s) allegedly damaged a 49-year-old Woodland woman’s horse fence. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Clearfield-based state police at 814-857-3800.
Minor injuries were reported following a single-vehicle accident at 4:05 p.m. Tuesday along Interstate 80 at mile marker 125 in Bradford Township, Clearfield County. William G. Bowman, 43, of St. Marys was traveling westbound in the right lane when a wild turkey flew across the road and into the path of his International Harvester. The turkey struck the front windshield, causing it to shatter. Bowman continued to travel west and pulled off at exit 123. He was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident and transported to the Clearfield Hospital for medical treatment.
An incident of simple assault/harassment occurred at approximately 1:40 a.m. Wednesday at a Telcott Street residence in Morris Township, Clearfield County. Two 35-year-olds – a man and woman – engaged in a physical confrontation. Charges have been filed against both through the district court.
No injuries were reported following a single-vehicle accident at 4:05 a.m. Wednesday along Interstate 80 at mile marker 120.4 in Bradford Township, Clearfield County. Kaming Lei, 19, of East Lansing, MI fell asleep while traveling eastbound. His vehicle traveled off the left berm and collided with the center median embankment. He and his two passengers weren’t injured and wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident. His vehicle was towed from the scene.
