Nov. 18, 2011
- The manager at Shoe Sensation reported that someone was putting trash in the store’s garbage bin. The offender’s name and address were found and officers handled without incident.
- A 43-year-old woman lost control as she was coming out of her driveway on Kilmer Road, hitting a pole.
Nov. 19, 2011
- A Treasure Lake woman reported that while she was in the Wal-Mart parking lot a vehicle drove through a stop sign and hit her, then left the scene. She got the registration and police contacted the other driver, an 84-year-old woman who was unaware she hit anything.
- An 18-year-old Brockway girl reported that someone hit and damaged her vehicle was it was parked at the Commons Plaza.
- An 18-year-year-old man reportedly spit on a girl who was with a group of kids walking in his yard. The kids were loud and vulgar to the man, and he reportedly yelled at them to get out of his yard. Officers spoke with all involved and cleared without incident.
- Officers investigated a 911 hang-up call on South Brady Street. It was an accidental call.
- A 17-year-old and two 19-year-old girls were caught shoplifting by Wal-Mart employees. Charges are pending.
- A DuBois woman reported that someone broke into her locked vehicle at Old Navy and took her wallet and cell phone.
