Police Report: Philipsburg PSP

An incident of harassment occurred at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Philipsburg Junior High School. A 15-year-old West Decatur boy allegedly struck a 14-year-old West Decatur boy with a closed fist to the head multiple times between classes. A 14-year-old West Decatur female allegedly conspired in the assault. Charges of harassment will be filed on both of the accused through the district court.
No injuries were reported following a two-vehicle accident at 9:25 a.m. Tuesday along U.S. Route 322 in Rush Township. A 20-year-old Philipsburg man and Rosie V. Luzier, 50, of Clearfield were traveling eastbound. The Luzier vehicle slowed for another turning left ahead of her. The man wasn’t paying attention and didn’t notice she was slowing down. As a result, his vehicle struck the rear of the Luzier vehicle, disabling them both. All occupants were wearing their seatbelts. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. The man was charged with vehicle code violation 3361.
