- A traffic accident occurred while a vehicle was being driven inthe right lane of state Route 879 through downtown Curwensville left its lane of travel and struck a parked vehicle. After sideswiping the car, the driver fled the scene. A witness identified the vehicle as a red car, possibly a Chevrolet Cavalier. It would have damage to its front ride side in the bumper or passengers side fender.
