Police Report: Clearfield Borough

Police responded to the Clearfield Hospital after a male had been discharged and refused to leave.
An incident of residential burglary was reported on Northwest Third Avenue when someone smashed the rear door window and removed a purse from inside the residence. The suspect then fled from the residence toward the area of West Pine Street.
A loud noise was reported in the area of Nichols Street and West Seventh Avenue.
A hit-and-run accident reportedly occurred at approximately 6:45 a.m. Thursday on Turnpike Avenue.
An incident of harassment by communications was reported during which a person was leaving threatening messages and calling numerous times.
A motorist was assisted after they had locked their keys inside their vehicle.
Police assisted the constables with taking a mental health patient into custody.
