On Monday, a 49-year-old Reynoldsville woman was traveling along South Brady Street at which time a deer stepped into her path, striking her vehicle and causing moderate damage. No injuries were reported.
A 19-year-old Brockway woman was observed Monday by Wal-Mart employees attempting to remove an item without paying for it. Charges will be filed.
On Monday, a 30-year-old Brady Street woman reported that after an argument with her 38-year-old husband, he left with the couple’s children. The husband reportedly refused to come home. Later, he reported that the woman was threatening to harm herself and others via text messaging. Upon investigation, it was determined the woman had not made the threats. Police handled the situation without incident.
On Monday, a resident found a small white and brown dog in the Maple Avenue area, and they turned it over to police.
A false alarm was reported Monday at KFC.
On Tuesday, a 57-year-old DuBois woman was distracted while driving on state Route 255 near Mount Run Road and failed to stop before striking another vehicle stopped in traffic. No injuries and minor damage were reported.
A Circle Road woman reported Tuesday that a suspicious man was looking into her vehicle. There wasn’t anything reported missing from her vehicle.
Police responded to a 911 hang-up call Tuesday on Merris Avenue. At arrival, the 45-year-old and his 40-year-old wife reported they were having an argument, and both threatened to contact police. The man picked up the phone and dialed 911 by accident.
