Police Report: Curwensville Borough

A harassment and false reports complaint is under investigationg.
Police reported that a resident received information that he won a cash prize. He was to cash a check that was sent and wire transfer several thousand dollars of cash to claim the large sum of cash. The check in the mailer was fraudulent. Police warned people not to respond to such mailings.
A juvenile was taken to the emergency room by private vehicle after inhaling a synthetic drug. Police want to warn people of the dangers of any drugs.
A 2007 blue Ford F150 Crew Cab was reported stolen from Anderson Street on Oct. 10. The vehicle was recovered and the investigation continues.
Officers responded to a domestic dispute at a Thompson Street residence Saturday morning at 1:40 a.m. A woman was placed in Clearfield County Jail and arraigned on charges of simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct. The man was transported to Clearfield Hospital by Curwensville Rescue Hose and Ladder Ambulance for treatment of his injuries.
An Irvona man was arrested for DUI
Police stopped a vehicle Sunday morning on State Street. A Clearfield woman was arrested for DUI.
