Travel delays possible during daylight work
JOHNSONBURG –Starting today, area drivers can expect travel delays as roadwork takes place on Route 4003 (Long Level Road/Tambine Road), between Route 219 in Johnsonburg and Route 948, north of Ridgway.
Crews will be working the entire length of the roadway and an alternating traffic pattern will be in place. Motorists should be alert for flaggers on the road.
Work includes pipe replacement, inlet adjustments, roadway base repairs, paving, shoulder back up and guiderail updates. All work is weather dependent.
PennDOT anticipates a mid-November completion for this work. H. R. I. Inc. of State College is the contractor on this roadway improvement project.
