Elizabeth E. “Betty” Boulton-Martin, 91, of Twinsburg, OH and formerly of Hawk Run died Wednesday at the residence of her daughter and son-in-law, Bert and Elizabeth “Betsy” Sullivan.
Born Jan. 12, 1920 in Smokerun, she was the daughter of the late Charles Edward Sr. and Mabel Irene (Miller) Bowser.
Mrs. Boulton-Martin was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith. She was a 1937 graduate of the Bigler Township High School.
She first married Edward Boulton June 3, 1937 in Houtzdale and who preceded her in death Nov. 26, 1969. On July 9, 1984, in Winchester, VA, she wed John Edward Martin and who preceded her in death Oct. 22, 1988.
In addition to her parents and both husbands, she was preceded in death by one sister, Evelyn Ball and one brother, Charles Edward Bowser Jr.
Mrs. Boulton-Martin was the beloved mother of three children, Edward C. Boulton of Curwensville; Elizabeth E. “Betsy” Sullivan and her husband, Bert P. of Twinsburg, OH; and Elaine P. Houston and her husband, Philip of Dayton, NV.
She’s survived by a half-sister, Lois Ann Lang of Pittsburgh and a half-brother, William Bowser and his wife, Robin of Smokerun.
She was the dear grandmother of 12 grandchildren and three step-grandchildren and countless great- and great-great-grandchildren. She was also survived by a former daughter-in-law, Alice (Mayes) Boulton of Clearfield; a former son-in-law, Morris C. Anderson Jr. and his wife, Kathy of Bellefonte and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family at the IOOF Cemetery Chapel, Brisbin with the Pastor James Walk officiating.
Interment will be at the American Legion Cemetery, Brisbin.
There will be no public visitation.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home, Philipsburg.
