A ribbon cutting was held at the new offices of Carrizo Oil and Gas Inc. at 2 E. Market St., in downtown Clearfield’s Main Street District. The ribbon cutting was a joint celebration of the Clearfield County Economic Development Corporation (CCEDC) and the Clearfield Revitalization Corporation, (CRC). The CCEDC purchased the property, formally known as the old Uni-Mart, and revitalized it in the new “Market Square” complex. Phase 1 of improvements are complete and Phase 2 will begin with improvement to the second story cornice and windows.Â
Main Street Manager, Kellie Truman thanked Carrizo Oil and Gas Inc. for relocating within downtown Clearfield and supporting the revitalization efforts of the community.
Rob Swales, CEO of the CCEDC said, “We couldn’t have done the project without Carrizo Oil and Gas Inc. as the anchor tenant of this project, and we’re happy to revitalize and partner with the local community.”
Dick Smith, VP-Land for Carrizo stated, “Carrizo is very honored and pleased to be an active member of the Clearfield community. All the folks at the CCEDC have been most helpful to Carrizo’s needs and we look forward to working together in the future.”
