CLEARFIELD – Organizers of Oktfurfest announced the beer selections that will be offered at the Clearfield County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals microbrew tasting festival set for Oct. 22 at Florian Banquet Center, Clearfield.
Oktofurfest will feature two tastings, from 1-4 and 5-8 p.m. and will include, for sale, a menu of beer-complimenting food by Apple Catering and cookies and coffee by Ethan’s Cafe and The Angry Bean.
“There will be background music, delicious food and lots of room to sit and enjoy a great afternoon or evening out with your friends,” said Beth Hallstrom, Oktofurfest organizer.
According to Jo Thompson of Jack’s Distributing, another organizer who chose the 20 microbrews, she wanted to reflect a wide range of beer styles and tastes.
