BROOKVILLE — The Curwensville volleyball team was able to get back to the .500 mark on the season on Thursday evening when the Lady Tide swept Brookville for the second time this year.
The scores of the much needed win were 25-19, 25-22, 25-13. The streaky Tide started the year 4-2 and have dipped to 2-4 over the second half of their 12 games.
Picking up a win was hopefully a springboard for the rest of the season according to Head Coach Sandy Bailor, “The girls played hard tonight, it’s been a tough couple of weeks for us but the girls have kept their heads up and they keep working hard in practice. It is nice to get back on the winning track, hopefully it will keep us focused to finish the regular season strong. We need to be ready to play Punxy on Tuesday.”
