JAY TOWNSHIP – The death of a 70-year-old Wexford man is under investigation in Elk County.
According to the Ridgway-based state police, James P. Ferris was located at his camp off of Redwood Avenue. Elk County Coroner Louis Radkowski pronounced Ferris dead at the scene.
Police were assisted by Bennets Valley Ambulance Service.
