Amelia Louise Voinchet (Owens) Ogden, 79 of Morrisdale, PA passed away on Oct. 6, 2011 at Mt. Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born April 1, 1932 in Philipsburg, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Dorothy (Hugney) Voinchet.
Mrs. Ogden graduated from St. Francis High School.
She is survived by six children: Dean Owens and his wife Kitty, of Clearfield, Anita Poust and her husband Rick, of Williamsport, Brian Owens of Detroit, Michigan, Mike and Carol Owens of Clearfield, Lisa Picard and her companion Dean Auen of Frenchville, PA, Shawn Owens of Shawville, PA, ten grandchildren; Rob, Chris, Jason, Wendy, Amy, Jared, Melinda, Corey, Jennifer and Amanda, three great grandchildren; Khorey, Kayla and Brianna. She is also survived by a sister, Winifred Hutchings of New York and her first husband, Robert Owens of Frenchville.
Mrs. Ogden was preceded in death by her parents, her second husband, George T. Ogden, Jr., and a sister, Helen “FiFi” O’Neill.
The Funeral service will be held on Oct. 8 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield with Pastor Brenda Libreatori officiating. Interment will be held in the Bradford Cemetery.
Friends will be received on Oct. 8 from 10:30 a.m. until the hour of the services.
