Esther L. Moore, 74, of Clearfield, passed away Oct. 1, 2011 at Clearfield Hospital.
Born on Oct. 15, 1936, the daughter of the late Charles and Ida(Carter) Middleton.
Esther prepared taxes for 45 years for a living, she also worked as a Clearfield County 911 Disbatcher for 20years and was the Co-manager of Joan’s Bar in Houtzdale.
She was a member of West Side United Methodist Church in Clearfield. She was an avid bowler and bingo player. Esther loved the outdoors, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Esther is survived by a sister, Doris J. Cook of Bayvillage, OH; a daughter, Dawn M. Middleton of Cleveland, OH; and a son, Dennis G.(Karen) Middleton of Clearfield. She is also survived by four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Oct. 7 at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc.
Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Oct. 6 at the funeral home.
