Ronald L. Cianelli, age 65, of Treasure Lake in DuBois, PA died Oct. 2, 2011 at U.P.M.C. Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
He was born on June 18, 1946 in Marianna, PA. He was the son of Ralph & Mary (Ricci) Cianelli.
On Aug. 1, 1970, he married Gloria Jo “Candy” Cianelli. She survives.
He retired from the maintenance department of Owens-Illinois in Brockway after over 30 years of service.
He was a member of the Elk Lodge #776 in Washington, PA. He was an avid golfer. He enjoyed riding four-wheelers and enjoyed geocaching. He especially loved spending time with his granddaughters.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Stacey Walker and her husband, Jason of Cambridge Springs, PA, six brothers, Ralph Cianelli, Jr. of Pittsburgh, PA, Joseph Cianelli of Pittsburgh, PA, Bernard Cianelli of Iowa City, TX, Robert Cianelli of Euclid, OH, James Cianelli of Brooklyn, NY and Edward Cianelli of Marianna, PA., and two granddaughters, Veronica and Andrea Walker.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two infant sisters.
There will be no public visitation or services.
