H. Louise Raymond, 92, of Clearfield passed away Sept. 20, 2011 at Ridgeview Elder Care.
Born on April 23, 1919, in Johnstown, Pa, the daughter of the late Wallace and Mildred(Fleck) Humphreys.
Louise was employed at Brody’s and Anderson’s Card and Gift Shop in Clearfield.
She was a member of West Side United Methodist Church and Class of 16 of the Sunday school, formerly a member of the Order of Eastern Star Clearfield Chapter and the Coterie Club, Merry Widows Pinochles Club of Clearfield. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Louise is survived by her daughter, Alyce(Randy) Smeal of Clearfield. Eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was the last member of her immediate family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Raymond in March 19, 1993, two sons: Sgt Frederick Raymond USAF and Gary Raymond, two sisters: Alyce Boltz and Betty Bartoloma and a brother, John Humphreys.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Oct. 5 at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc., with Rev Dr. Joleen A. Willis officiating.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 .p.m on Oct. 4 at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. Additional viewing will be held on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
