Police Report: Sandy Township

On Monday, officers responded to a Wilson Avenue residence for a report about a child who was being choked by another child while playing football. Officers handled the situation without incident. No injuries were reported.
On Tuesday, a tractor-trailer driver backed into another truck while attempting to park. No injuries and minor damage were reported.

A Treasure Lake woman reported Tuesday that she was being contacted by a Health Security Company in New York City, which was attempting to obtain personal information from her. The call was a sham.
On Tuesday, a 51-year-old West Newton man was pulling out of the Clarion Inn on Rich Highway and failed to see an oncoming tractor-trailer driven by a 31-year-old Reynoldsville man. The tractor-trailer struck the man’s truck, causing disabling damage to both vehicles. No injuries were reported.
