REYNOLDSVILLE – The DuBois-based state police initiated an investigation into a burglary during which a male suspect assaulted a 36-year-old Reynoldsville woman sometime between 4 a.m. and 6 a.m. Tuesday.
According to the incident report, an unknown male allegedly gained entry to the woman’s residence. Once inside, he struck the victim over the head and started to cut her. During the alleged assault, the male also attempted to remove her shorts.
At some point, the male fled the area. He’s described as a Caucasian male with medium brown hair and beard. He stands approximately 5 feet, 9 inches tall and has a medium build.
