The Clearfield Revitalization Corporation, (CRC) is one step closer to its first Fall Festival, as the Main Street District was decorated with cornstalks this past Saturday. The Cub Scouts of Pack 2 of the Presbyterian Church helped in the decorating process, and the cornstalks were donated by Henry’s Farm.
Main Street Manager, Kellie Truman commented, “It is always a wonderful experience when the youth can help out in our community, and we are very appreciative of Henry’s Farm, as the entire town can enjoy a festive downtown environment. Due to the dry summer, it was hard to find cornstalks to decorate with, so we are very thankful of their generosity.”
Truman added, “CRC volunteers Rob Bozovich, Heather Blum and Joe Kelly did a lot of behind the scene work and coordinating with the cornstalks from physically cutting the stalks to decorating the lamps. They deserve to be recognized for their efforts, too.”
