CLARION’S ARMSTRONG; MONITEAU’S ARMAGOST ARE THE RRR ROADHOUSE D9SPORTS.COM CO-PLAYERS OF THE WEEK FOR WEEK THREE 2011
14 Players named to RRR Roadhouse District 9 Honor Roll
SHIPPENVILLE – Clarion’s T.J. Armstrong and Moniteau’s Kyle Armagost are the RRR Roadhouse D9Sports.com Co-Players of the Week for Week Three of the 2011 season.
Armstrong had an exceptional game on both sides of the football in the Bobcats 29-12 win over Union rushing for 130 yards and three touchdowns while catching a fourth touchdown and making 15 tackles on defense.
Armagost, meanwhile, showed his toughness playing on basically one leg after suffering a knee injury in Week Two. Despite limited mobility he completed 15 of 26 passes for a career-high 373 yards while throwing three touchdowns and one interception in the Warriors key 43-21 win on the road at Brookville.
Joining Armstrong and Armagost in being honored are 14 additional players who are on the RRR Roadhouse D9Sports.com Honor Roll after outstanding games over the weekend.
