Police Report: Sandy Township

On Monday, a 15-year-old boy and his 37-year-old mother engaged in a verbal dispute at the boy’s grandparents’ home on South Avenue. The mother reported that the boy ran away from the residence before returning and reportedly threatening to get a knife. Police handled the situation without incident.
A 41-year-old Forest Avenue woman reported Monday that someone had used her debit card on several occasions without her permission. The investigation is ongoing.
A 27-year-old Penfield man was cited Tuesday for leaving his 2-year-old child in the car unattended at the DuBois Mall.
A noise complaint was investigated Tuesday on Forest Avenue. Nothing was found.
A false alarm was reported Tuesday at K-Mart.
