Shela J. George, 62, of Clearfield, passed away Sept. 7, 2011 at her home.
Mrs. George was born Dec. 30, 1948 in the daughter of Eugene H. Milligan, Sr., and Reba Mae (Ashton) Milligan.
She had retired as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Mrs. George is survived by three children; Melissa McConnaughey and her husband Douglas of Clearfield, Shane P. Johnson and his wife Natalie of Fort Benning, Georgia and Christopher Johnson of Florida, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and four sisters; Myrna English of West Decatur, Barbara Wills and her husband Russell of Shiloh, Rosemary Hull and her husband Charles of Farber, MO and Susan Sloppy of Woodland.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Vincent W. George on Oct. 17, 2005 a granddaughter, Kristen McConnaughey two sisters; Cleo Butler and Patricia Sigvaldsen and two brothers; Eugene Milligan, Jr., and Edgar Milligan, Sr.
Funeral Services will be held at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc., of Clearfield on Sept. 14 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor John T. Dill officiating. Interment will be in Bradford Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services.
