Obituary Notice: Alta Mae Albert

Alta Mae Albert, age 83, of Morgan Road in DuBois, PA died Sept. 10, 2011 at Christ the King Manor.

She was born on Sept. 20, 1927 in DuBois, PA.  She was the daughter of the late Howard A. & Alta M. (Naugle) Divins. 

On Feb. 25, 1949, she married Robert Northey Albert.  He preceded her in death in 1976. 

She worked in the Corragate Department at Brockway Glass and retired in 1992. 

She was a member of Lakeside United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed reading, cross stitch and crafts.  She also enjoyed listening to country music. 

She is survived by her children:  Mrs. Dennis (Barbara) Garda of Clarion, PA, Mrs. Don (Karen) Hilliard of DuBois, PA and Mr. Robert (Heidi) Albert of DuBois, PA, two brothers, Carl Divins and his wife, Willa of DuBois and Bill Divins and his wife, Nina of Peach Tree City, GA, four grandchildren, three step grandchildren, two great grandchildren and five step great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and infant sister Joan Louise Divins.

Visitation will be held on Sept. 14 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Goble Baronick Funeral Home in DuBois.

A funeral service will be held on Sept. 15, 2011 at 11 a.m. from the Goble Baronick Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Zilhaver officiating.

Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
