Bernard W. Lytle, 80, of Clearfield died on Thursday at the Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.
He was born Dec. 5, 1930 in Mineral Springs, a son of the late Arnold and Bessie (Lansberry) Lytle. Mr. Lytle tended to the family farm in Bigler all of his life.
Mr. Lytle is survived by five sisters, Lavoy Barger of Clearfield; Dorothy Shoffner of Drifting; Kay Stiner of LeContes Mills; Rosalie Buck and her husband, Henry of Woodland; and Rosella Martin and her husband, Richard of Philipsburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Lee Lytle and two sisters, Norma Milligan and Esther Knee.
A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 21 at the Church of Christ, Lecontes Mills, with Evangelist Raymond Stiner, nephew, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, 113 N. Third St., Clearfield.
