Minor injuries were reported in a motorcycle accident at 1:40 a.m. Saturday along state Route 504 near Six Mile Road in Rush Township. Zachary Brantner, 19, was traveling west when he failed to negotiate a right curve. His motorcycle then traveled off the left side and struck a guiderail. He was transported to the Mount Nittany Medical Center for treatment.
An investigation was conducted into a hit-and-run accident that occurred at 10:40 p.m. Thursday in the parking lot of Casteel Chiropractic, Philipsburg. It was reported to police that a gray-colored Chevrolet Cavalier struck a blue-colored Dodge Caliber, while it was parked. After striking the vehicle, the known operator fled in an unknown direction.
