Linda Jane (Rauch) Askey, 65, of Clearfield, died Aug. 19, 2011 at UPMC-Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Linda was born in Clearfield on Dec. 11, 1945, a daughter of the late Paul and Mary (Wisor) Askey.
She was a member of the West Side Church of Christ.
Linda retired as a cashier from Sheetz Inc. She enjoyed reading, knitting and crafts. Linda loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are two children: Larry Askey of Morrisdale and Amy Askey of Parkersburg, WV; one brother, Burt Rauch and his wife Elaine of Clearfield and three sisters: Norma “Teed” Swatsworth, of Curwensville, Leotta “Ode” and her husband Garry Parks and Kate Wisor, both of Mineral Springs, and several nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers; Dusty, Norman and Larry Rauch.
A memorial service will be held at the West Side Church of Christ, Aug. 30 at 2:00 p.m.with John Wright officiating.
The family asks that memorial donations be made to the West Side Church of Christ, 219 Merrill Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.
