Police Report: Ridgway PSP

Sometime between 6:30 p.m. Aug. 17 and 5:30 p.m. Aug. 18, a known 76-year-old Wilcox man allegedly removed two survey stakes as well as several temporary property markers from a 61-year-old Wilcox man’s property located along Rasselas Road in Jones Township. The man then retained possession of the removed stakes and markers. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Ridgway-based state police at 814-776-6136.
An incident of simple assault was reported at 9:40 p.m. Saturday in the Army/Navy Club parking lot in Horton Township. A 29-year-old Brockport man and a 44-year-old Falls Creek man engaged in a physical altercation at the club. A 35-year-old Brockport woman was subsequently pushed to the ground by the Falls Creek man. Charges of simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct were filed against the men through the district court in Johnsonburg.
